All of us must question the world, the accepted normality that we've grown to understand as reality. What if you couldn't accept these restraints and structures? How would you react and what would you do to come to terms with the accepted median version of existence? Why is how it is, have to be how it is?
This is where we join our protagonist; strained, pained and tortured by his own thoughts and belief structures. As he cuts his trajectory through time we find him trying to make sense of his madness, to find some meaning to life, to understand where his deflated self fits in the grand scheme of the world; wider still, on the universal scale of all things.
Feeling broken, heavily self-medicated and drowning in modern hedonistic behaviour, the protagonist wants to believe: to believe in himself, in others, in the world, and in the inherent potential of all our futures. With failing ambitions of self-enlightenment, he is a prisoner in his own mind and no longer the king of his 4lb universe.
Only through coming to terms with his demons can he accept the reality and move forward with his life as best he can. Will he succeed in this most important moment in his life, or will he fail like so many times before?
